Power Stations
Each power station is indicated by a lightening bolt symbol on the map, and their locations are noted during the mission briefing. When you acquire a power station and then beam your Host Station to its sector, you will increase your energy—which is essential to gameplay. Beaming your Host Station to a power station you own costs nothing in beam energy.

Not all power stations generate the same amount of energy. In the upper-left corner of a power station map sector, white boxes indicate the amount of energy generated by that power station. The more white boxes, the greater the station's energy output.
Beaming your Host Station to a power station and acquiring surrounding sectors will significantly increase the power station's energy output. The stronger a power station is, the more surrounding sectors you should acquire to optimize its output. For more information on acquiring energy, see Strategies: Acquiring Energy.
In addition to maintaining a constant energy supply for your Host Station, you can also recharge your damaged vehicles by positioning them near a power station you own. The same proximity rules apply: The closer a vehicle is to a power station, the faster it will recharge. Stronger power stations emit energy quicker and have a larger emission area.
Power stations also have offensive abilities against enemy vehicles. If an enemy is located in one of your sectors and is within the emission area of a power station you own, your power station will drain energy away from that enemy vehicle. The closer the enemy vehicle is to the power station, the quicker its energy is drained away. Of course, this effect also will benefit your enemy when you try to attack their power station. One way to counter that is to conquer the sector you are located in so that the enemy power station can't drain energy away from you.
To acquire a power station, you must defeat all enemies present in that sector and then shoot at the building. The sector's outline color on the map will change to indicate that the power station is now yours. If you lose a power station, you lose the power it provided and the enemy will immediately gain it. Protect your power stations by locating heavy artillery in their vicinity.
